Job Summary: Reports to the Director of Nursing. This position is an active, skilled member of the clinical leadership team who is committed to provide residents/guests with quality individualized healthcare, to meet federal, state and local regulations and coordinates clinical care delivery with 24/7 responsibility within the extended care setting. In addition, they are responsible for providing the coordination and completion of the MDS as outlined in the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) manual and managing/coordinating the documentation related to clinical reimbursement.
Supervises all nursing staff on their assigned unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include participation in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Job Qualifications: RN licensed in Kansas. Must have Associate's Degree but Bachelor's Degree preferred. RAC Certified by the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination (AANAC).
